Applications Used

The main programme I was using was Garageband and this provided everything I needed to make the finished product.
Garageband has many editing capabilities that allow the user to move around levels of sounds appropriately and also create smoothe transitions between clips such as fades in and fades out.
The programme comes complete with samples of sounds and loops so I was able to compose my own and use some pre-recorded sounds to create a unique jingle and sound effects.
I could import songs from iTunes and also take the recorded sound clips of the interviews from a microphone straight onto the track which meant i could edit the sound levels of that and also apply voice effects to fit in with the show. It is also possible to use the microphone on the Mac to record straight onto the track which meant you could get the timing exact with the track rather than recording it somewhere else and then have to drag it and edit it to fit.
